The group has designed and created a number of standard blends using a mix of their base resins to produce differing qualities for specific applications - Bioplast 2055 is 50%
Bioplast 106 and 50% Bioplast 2189. Bespoke blends can be manufactured to customers specific requirements ranging from 10% Bioplast 2189 and 90% Bioplast 106 and vice versa.
Custom blends are certified EN 13432 and DIN CERTCO biodegradable and compostable - depending on thickness (Din 7W0077 @ 120 mµ).
If you are thinking of food as an end product Bioplast blends have both EU and FDA (USA) Food Contact Approval.
Blended resins can be coloured, provided the pigments used are biodegradable. Films are also suitable for printing either by flexographic or offset printing without any
requirement for pre-treatment.
